Dudes Modern Barbers with stores in Newquay and Plymouth

ALOHA and Welcome to Dudes modern barbers first established in 2002. We located our first salon near to Plymouth University as we could see a ‘niche’ market for a quality affordable haircut   within a cool, funky atmosphere for the ever increasing student population. Dudes discovered quickly that it was appealing, not just to the students, but to all clients that wanted to get away from the ‘normal’ style of hairdressers !

We insist that our stylists should have the freedom to express their creativity and individuality not   only in their work but in their appearance too! Dudes is decked out in a rustic, relaxed surf themed style and along with hairdressing we retail a range of internationally famous hair products which are not tested on animals.

Dudes also sells “knick knacks” such as handmade jewellery, cards, ceramic camper vans, driftwood art and much much more……
a lot made by our own team. Dudes Plymouth started off with just 2 stylists and due to popular demand we now have 14 stylists !

In 2007, Dudes decided that we would like to open another Dudes in Newquay based on the type of salon we had already created in Plymouth. We knew it would fit nicely into the ‘relaxed and international surf community! Again we opened with just 2 stylists and within a year we have grown so quickly that Dudes Newquay now has 5 stylists! We strongly believe that both salons are successful due to our unique hairdressing style and becuase all our clients enjoy the fact that they can actually be themselves while waiting to get their hair done!
